Monthly Second Saturday Work Parties (usually)

May 13, 2023 (SAT.)

9 - 11+ AM

Help Us Tackle Some Invasive Weeds Before They Get Ahead of Us

We will work on digging bull thistle and tansy ragwort, and pulling and bagging meadow foxtail. We would love to work on vinca, Italian arum or shiny geranium if we have enough hands on deck.

It helps if you can bring your own water bottle and gloves. Long sleeves and pants protect from thorns and stickers. If you prefer to do kneeling type weeding, knee pads are a good idea, and maybe a favorite hand weeding tool, though most of our priority tasks involve shovels this time.
