Monthly Second Saturday Work Parties (usually)

March 11, 2023 (SAT.)

1 - 4 PM

Help Us Make More Room for Milkweed (and Monarchs!)

We will lift shade cloth and clear a patch to make room for planting more baby milkweed. Those who prefer might also work on weeding a prairie patch or digging blackberry or vinca.

It helps if you can bring your own gloves and favorite hand weeding tool. You may want to bring a water bottle and knee pads, too.

Be prepared for damp, cool conditions. Your RSVP helps us be prepared with enough extra shovels and gloves!

Meet at the milkweed patch near the center of the park—you'll see our cart.
